All services are subject to availability, scheduling, site conditions, and applicable licensing requirements.

Estimates & Pricing

Estimates provided by Goodfellow Mechanical are based on information available at the time of inspection.

Pricing may change if:

  • Additional issues are discovered

  • Equipment conditions differ from initial observations

  • Additional labor or materials are required

  • Manufacturer pricing changes occur

Written estimates are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and service information

  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to equipment and work areas

  • Secure pets and remove hazards from work areas

  • Disclose known system issues when possible

  • Make timely payment for services rendered

Goodfellow Mechanical reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if unsafe conditions are present.

Scheduling & Appointments

Appointment times are estimated service windows and not guaranteed arrival times.

Weather conditions, emergency calls, traffic conditions, supplier delays, and other unforeseen circumstances may affect scheduling.

If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, reasonable notice is appreciated.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Cash

  • Checks

  • Electronic payment methods

Any returned checks, chargebacks, or declined payments may be subject to additional fees.

Permits & Code Compliance

Where required, Goodfellow Mechanical will obtain applicable permits for contracted work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers understand that existing equipment may not comply with current building codes and that code-related upgrades may be required during repairs or replacements.

Warranty Disclaimer

Goodfellow Mechanical warrants workmanship on qualifying repairs for one (1) year unless otherwise stated in writing.

Drain cleaning services carry a 30-day workmanship guarantee.

Evaporator coil cleanings, blower cleanings, maintenance services, and similar cleaning services do not carry a warranty because future system conditions are outside our control.

Manufacturer warranties apply only to eligible parts and equipment and are administered according to the manufacturer's policies.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodfellow Mechanical shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Equipment failure

  • Service interruptions

  • Loss of use

  • Property damage not directly caused by our negligence

  • Delays caused by suppliers, manufacturers, weather, utility companies, or circumstances beyond our control

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Customers acknowledge that HVAC equipment is mechanical in nature and may fail unexpectedly. Goodfellow Mechanical does not guarantee continuous operation of any equipment and shall not be responsible for consequential damages resulting from equipment failure, service delays, manufacturer defects, utility interruptions, or conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Equipment Failure, Emergency Conditions, and Customer Responsibility

Customers acknowledge that heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems may fail unexpectedly due to age, manufacturer defects, utility interruptions, weather conditions, lack of maintenance, component failures, acts of nature, or other circumstances beyond the control of Goodfellow Mechanical.

While Goodfellow Mechanical will make reasonable efforts to diagnose, repair, and restore system operation, we do not guarantee uninterrupted equipment performance, uninterrupted indoor comfort, or immediate service availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodfellow Mechanical shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from equipment failure, system downtime, delayed repairs, delayed parts availability, manufacturer defects, utility outages, extreme weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Heat-related illness or heatstroke

  • Cold-related illness or injury

  • Personal injury

  • Illness or medical complications

  • Property damage

  • Damage to personal belongings

  • Damage to electronics

  • Food spoilage

  • Loss of use of the property

  • Business interruption

  • Plant loss or damage

  • Animal injury, illness, or death

  • Temporary displacement from the property

The homeowner, property owner, tenant, or responsible party remains solely responsible for monitoring conditions within the property and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all persons, children, elderly individuals, occupants, guests, pets, livestock, plants, and property.

Customers are responsible for taking reasonable precautions during periods of equipment malfunction or failure, including obtaining temporary cooling, heating, shelter, veterinary care, medical attention, or other appropriate emergency measures when necessary.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted as limiting any rights or protections that cannot be waived under applicable Arizona law.

Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems

  • Interfere with website functionality

  • Upload malicious software or harmful content

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission

Service Policies

  • Service call and diagnostic fees are non-refundable once services have been performed.
